Tajana Gali

Tajana Gali was born in 1962
in Stuttgart, Germany. After
graduating from high school in
1983 she took several trips
abroad. In 1984 she attended the
fashionschool in Sigmaringen,
Germany, and graduated in 1987.
In the same year, after an
internship of six months, she
founded her own company "Gali".

1987

The company was founded in Waiblingen, Germany.

1988

The first studio and store were established. Participations
under the label T’AI’CHI at regional exhibitions took root.
First contacts to retail trade were developing.

1991

The label Gali, standing for exclusiveness in fashion, was
being created.

Putting her heart and scissors in

Tajana Gali's fashion creations arise from emotions and a pair of scissors.
By the sensation of fabric in her hands and on her skin she gets her ideas.
They are often realised with a pair of scissors straight on the body and only
after that paper patterns are made. Just like her high quality creations, her
mode of operation is spontaneous and inspired.

Tajana Gali is a mistress of handling sensuous, noble and unusual fabrics
which she combines in a way that makes you want to touch and feel what
yours eyes can only see. From the casual linen-look to the orotund evening
dress, a wide spectrum of becoming apparel is available. Due to smooth
colour matching intercombinations go together well.

The feeling for what matches in fabric peaks out in complex patch-garments
of potpourri material-mix. Wild harmony comes alive. Unique is also the parti-
cular diversity of unusual plisse and crash fabrics of her collections.

You can find Tajana Gali in Waiblingen. Each year, two collections are being
produced by Gali, the range of the collection covering 60-80 models.
